I have decided to retroactively add in monthly status updates here so that you can track my progress in writing Sprig and get some more in-depth statistics in the writing process. This is the first in the series, and once I catch up to the present (August since that month just completed) I'll continue posting these at the beginning of each month. Notes
This was my first month really writing every day. I came out of the gate running and had Camp NaNoWriMo as an extra motivation to really get my daily word counts up. My daughters were also sleeping better during my writing time (5AM-7AM) so I was able to focus a lot on writing, and I'm very happy with the outcome. Writing 20,000 words in a month while also having two toddlers and a full-time job is no easy feat, so I'm proud of myself for putting in the time to make it happen and for starting off my daily writing routine well.
Fun Fact: I actually started writing Sprig on my golden birthday, which was a couple of days before April started, so these numbers might not be exact since they include the little bit I wrote in March.
